An overview.
First session from Rs 1000
Practical techniques to keep everyday pressure from quietly tipping into depression. Tools you can use on a Tuesday afternoon.
There are various techniques psychotherapists use to combat and control people's stress levels. Stress management includes combative techniques for your everyday life. Sometimes the stress and anxiety levels get so high in one's life that it leads to depression. In order to avoid an overwhelming feeling of getting stressed out, stress management comes in handy.
Stress is not always loud. Often it is the slow accumulation of small things, deadlines, sleeplessness, unspoken obligations, that becomes the background noise of life. Stress management is partly about turning that volume down, and partly about noticing the moment it begins to climb.
Small, daily tools, used consistently, change everything.
The work blends conversation with concrete technique. Breathing patterns, sleep hygiene, the structure of a working day, the boundaries that need rebuilding. Each is small. Together they shift the floor of how you live.
A quiet rhythm, not a rigid plan.
Therapy is not procedural. These are the four movements you can expect, each one shaped around you.
Map the load.
We list, plainly, what is taking up energy. Often the picture changes once it is on the page.
Find the triggers.
Where does it start. What time of day, in what conversation, around which kind of task.
Build a few tools.
Two or three small interventions that fit your week. Not a programme. A toolkit.
Adjust, and repeat.
We review what worked and what did not, and refine. Stress management is iterative, never finished.
A few things people often ask.
Is this only for people who are very stressed?
No. Many clients come simply to maintain calm, not to recover from a crisis. Prevention works.
Will I have to meditate?
Only if it fits you. There are many useful techniques, and meditation is just one of them.
Can stress management help with sleep?
Yes. Sleep is one of the first things we attend to, because almost everything else gets harder without it.
How quickly will I feel different?
It varies. Many people feel some relief from the first session. Lasting change takes a few weeks of practice.
